Multiple Drink Orders
Working in a busy bar, the key to being organised is to have everything ready and in its place.
This includes having:
- the drinks cold.
- garnishes prepared.
- back up stock.
To work on a bar you need to know:
- all the drinks.
- how much to pour.
You'll often find yourself multi-tasking, especially when multiple orders come in at once.
So what's the best way to organise multiple orders at the same time?
- Look through the orders and work out how many beers, spirits and wine are needed.
- Go to the fridge once and get all the beers and put them on the trays to match the orders.
- Prepare the spirits and put them on the trays.
- Pour the wine and place on the trays.
- This way, all orders will be ready at the same time and ready to serve.
The key to being efficient in a bar is being able to prepare multiple orders at the same time and being aware of where everything is kept.
